The Honest Editorial Decision Is to Stop Before Manufacturing an Issue

A declared political viewpoint does not excuse invented facts or untested sourcing. The right way to complete this ambitious issue is through researched, auditable batches.

A forceful editorial line is compatible with factual discipline; indeed, it depends on it. IndianCritic can favour the government’s case, challenge Congress and the INDIA alliance, and still insist that every factual premise be traceable to reporting or primary material. What it cannot responsibly do is manufacture a day’s political context to satisfy a production deadline.

Opinion still needs evidence

The assignment calls for present-day subjects, specific arguments, and embedded links that survive direct HTTP requests without login walls or bot challenges. Those are meaningful editorial controls. Treating them as decorative boxes would produce propaganda-shaped filler rather than persuasive opinion.

Divide the issue without diluting it

A category-by-category workflow is the practical solution. Two politics pieces can be researched and completed first, followed by sports, entertainment, technology, automobiles, and offbeat. That preserves the requested sequence while allowing every link and visible-word count to be checked before publication.

No counterfeit completeness

A response containing twelve tiny objects would look structurally complete while failing nearly every substantive requirement. I would rather state the limitation plainly than hide it beneath confident headlines and unsupported specificity.
